I still remember the day
I first saw you.
The day I still remember
was cold.
What made me trust you?
Was it your smile? A smile that reached your eyes.
Just seen for a while,
you are with me always.
You were there
loving, always lifting heavy loneliness tossing it aside.
There you were
when I needed you.
